Enlight has announced their latest real-time strategy PC game Seven Kingdoms: Conquest, the third installment of Seven Kingdoms series. Co-developed by Enlight and Infinite Interactive, Seven Kingdoms: Conquest will be available in North America this September 2005. Seven Kingdoms: Conquest offers the choice to play as human or demon in epic battles spanning 6,000 years on Earth. Starting in ancient Egypt in 3000 B.C. and ending in a final battle on a futuristic Earth, players will have to have their fingers on the pulse of their civilization as the two races clash every 1,000 years.

Fogstone Games has announced that The Lost Admiral has finished sea trials and is ready for public consumption.  The Lost Admiral Returns makes vast improvements to the original Lost Admiral.  The Lost Admiral Returns is a naval strategy game that places you at the command center of a fleet of ships.  With your fleets you must capture cities and battle your enemies, making use of battleships, destroyers, submarines, aircraft carriers, and more. There's also a demo of The Lost Admiral available at the Fogstone Games site.

Jade Empire, which is exclusively for Xbox, is said to be pushed back another month to April 26. BioWare's Jade Empire takes place in a fantasy realm resembling ancient China. Train under your master’s watchful eye and learn powerful martial arts and gain mystical powers. Players will also be able to make the moral choice between good or evil.

LucasArts recently announced that PC players can now control the fate of the galaxy in an all new real-time strategy (RTS) game titled Star Wars: Empire at War (tentative title). Set a few years before the events of Episode IV A New Hope, the game will let players rewrite history as well as experience the aftermath of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, the creation of the Rebel Alliance, and Darth Vader’s rise to power. Star Wars: Empire at War has is scheduled to release in Fall 2005.

"Recent shooters have incorporated all kinds of new and different stuff, like team-based play, vehicles, tactical squads, and plenty of other features that have moved away from the traditional, one-guy-with-a-gun-against-the-whole-world model. That's not to say that there isn't room for this original kind of shooter anymore. In fact, an example of the traditional shooter can be found in the newly announced TimeShift, from developer Saber Interactive and publisher Atari, a futuristic sci-fi shooter that outfits you with an arsenal of powerful weapons plus a specially prepared suit that makes you immune to any kind of changes in the flow of time. Oh, and it will also give you the ability to change the flow of time."
