improvements to the Flatspace universe with the addition of guilds,
artifacts, and class-specific ships, weapons, and items. The game is
completely open, players are given command of a space ship and the

Female Voice Talent Needed
- Saturday 1/21/2006 by
CaliGirl
The
First Strike Star Wars mod
for Battlefield 2 is in need of female vocals. Here's the blurb they
sent over to us:
I'm going to host an audition for the in-game. AJust record and
email it to me. I want pure recordings for this role. I'm looking
for voice talents not whether you can use effects or not. Also it's
important to try to make all the lines sound about the same. Try to
be at the same distance from you mic for each line.
Sniper: Preferably American accent
Depth of voice not too important, clarity is key here. You need to
speak these lines:
"Rebel troops spotted"
"Yes, sir"
"Target acquired"
"Let's move"
If you feel you can do any other of the bf2 voice commands Starwars-like,
please do. I need the recordings as one or seperate files, in wave
or mp3 format. If you do them in wave, please zip them together. The
whole bunch shouldn't exceed half a megabyte please. Send them
together with your name, age, nationality etc in an
email. The successful
candidate will help our Team perfect the Character speech so time
wasters please dont apply. Good luck! - xEROhOUR / First Strike Team

a real-time strategy game that puts players in the role of history’s
greatest generals, which is now scheduled for release in June 2006.
The game’s development is now being led internally out of the Midway

Core Defender Released
- Monday 1/9/2006 by
CaliGirl
CentriZone has
released 'Core Defender', a fast action / strategy game that mixes
planning with deadly skill and speed. Control a state of the art
hover tank as it defends the core of humanity from alien invasion.
Money is gained based on the number of power supply stations still
available at the end of the invasion. Money is then used to purchase
more power supply stations, upgrade the tank, purchase ammunition,
weapons, or defensive turrets to protect your assets. The key to
victory is in keeping your core and tank alive while still leaving
enough power to purchase the upgrades required to defeat the next
level. The aliens know that victory doesn’t have to be achieved in a
single sweep, and will gradually wear your empire down to nothing but
burning rubble.

Carmack: We are working internally on a completely new project, but
we haven't made any firm plans yet for the future of the Wolf, Doom
and Quake franchises.
