Fight Club Revealed

Vivendi Universal has announced the development of
Fight Club for Xbox and
PS2. The game is due to be out in late 2004, and is being developed by
Genuine Games. Features will included an an intense experience that
will combine the characters, settings, artistic style, and story
elements from the movie with a realistic fighting system that will
appeal to both hardcore and casual gamers.
Alida Announced

Got Game Entertainment announced that
Alida, an
adventure game expected for a release later in 2004 for the PC. The
enveloping story of a missing musician unfolds on a deserted island
theme park. The game is set on Alida, a guitar-shaped island theme
park created by a young and wildly successful band. When money woes
and paranoia set in, the band splits up, each claiming different areas
of the park, and where each devise strange and elaborate systems to
protect their respective remaining wealth. Each member grows
increasingly isolated and all eventually abandon the island. Alida is
being developed by Cos Russo in Australia.

Beta OMG, this isn't shooter! What the... Planshift is
cool. For sure it doesn't have a whole lot of combat (so far) but
it's got some things going for it that might pique your interest
in--umm--RPG's. At the moment you can get into Planeshift on
a very basic level and have an impact on its development. Next time
your wrists tighten up from hours of rocket assaults you'll need
somethng to keep you occupied while the tendons mend, so... Here's
how the private devolopers of Planshift describe the game: Our
objective is to create a persistent world in a fantasy setting, in
which every player will create his character and will be able to
live with maximum realism. The player will start his journey in
Yliakum, a big underground city with different races, factions,

iQue Revealed

According to
Spong, the new
Nintendo console called iQue is a TV game where adapters get a Flash
memory card to download software at certain retail outlets. The
machine ships to China in the next week and will come with a demo
version of Zelda 64, Mario 64, Wave Race and Star Fox.
Speaking of Nintendo, they have now passed the
10 million mark for
handhelds.
