C&C3:
Tiberium Wars Demo
EA has released a demo
for Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. This demo includes a
tutorial, two different missions as the Global Defense Initiative,
and a one-versus-one skirmish map as GDI against a CPU-controlled
Brotherhood of Nod army. All units from both factions are available.
Pro-Gaming
on TV
CNET News.com has news
about a new deal that will bring competitive gaming to TV. Major
League Gaming signed its first cable television deal, which brought
seven hour-long gaming segments about the league's Pro Circuit to
NBC Universal's USA Network.
Supreme
Commander Patch
Gas Powered Games has released a patch
for Supreme Commander, their real-time strategy game. This patch
includes game tweaks and balances, a number of minor bug fixes, an
additional, minimalist UI, and more.
Empire
Earth III Announced
Sierra Entertainment announced that the third iteration of their
real-time strategy (RTS) series, Empire Earth is in development on
PC. Empire Earth III will
be available on PC in fall 2007.
Making
History: TC&tS Demo
Another demo
has been released for MAKING HISTORY: The Calm & the Storm by
StrategyFirst. The latest demo includes a tutorial and a 20 turn
single player game.
Battlefield
2142 Patch
EA has released the final version of the v1.20
patch, fixing various bugs, tweaking weapons, Titan mode
optimizations, pluggin exploits, and more.
Tortuga:
Two Treasures
CDV Software and Ascaron Entertainment has recently announced that Tortuga:
Two Treasures, the swashbuckling action-adventure title for PC,
has gone gold. The game will ship to North American retail on March
5. The game tells the story of the young swashbuckler Thomas
‘Hawk’ Blythe, a pirate in the employ of the sinister Blackbeard.
After Hawk is captured and betrayed, a dramatic battle for power,
romance, treasure and truth commences beneath the Jolly Roger. Two
Treasures features epic land and naval battles, featuring everything
from sword fights to cannon-battles.
Supreme
Commander Demo
Gas Powered Games has released a single-player
demo for their upcoming strategy game entitled, Supreme
Commander. The demo includes part of the early Cybran campaign and
one skirmish map, playable on three difficulty settings.

Mark of Chaos Demo
The Warhammer: Mark of Chaos multiplayer demo includes four maps

Doom
3 Patches
There's a quite a few new patches
for Doom 3 on the PC, Mac, and Linux. The patches include several
minor tweaks and fixes, most notably for compiling in Visual Studio
2003 and 2005.
Universe
at War: Earth Assault
SEGA has recently announced their real-time strategy game entitled,
"Universe at War: Earth Assault". The game is currently in
development for the PC by Petroglyph and is scheduled for release
