February Bargain Bin

I like cheap. I admit it. When a new game or movie based on a game comes
out, then I am all over the pre-owned section at EB or the local
"trade-your-games-for-cash" shop to look for the previous versions on
sale. That's how I got Silent Hill 3 for $7.99 This week for instance with
Tekken 5 coming out, I am willing to bet that there will be a dearth of
Tekken 4 games to grab if you haven't picked it up yet. I love the new
releases. But the fifty bucks for them- not so much. So today here's a
little over looked adventure/survival game that features a female playable
character, and it is quite good from what I understand. Return to
Mysterious Island is loosely based on Jules Verne’s “Mysterious Island”
book. It has not only an interesting setting inspired by a classic novel,
but also puzzles that really tie into the game world and actually make
sense. You play as Mina, a young woman who sets out on a solo sailing
expedition and encounters a fierce storm that tosses her into the sea and
onto the beaches of a tropical island in the South Pacific. You play the
game from a first-person perspective. It sounds educational and I'd pick
it up at $20 bucks. Check it out
