Darkwatch to Debut

had heard about a Vampire Western game and thought "OK game developers are
running out of ideas finally." I never expected such an ominous and eerie
production. The movies and screens alone might just scare the heck out of
you. Darkwatch is actually a 1st person shooter that has banged together
Vampire-Horror and Western genres. That alone sounds very scary right
there... But Darkwatch
might be full of surprises - possibly good ones too.
The story line is macabre on the order of a grim Thomas Tryon novel, and
isn't for the faint of heart. I think that this game will push the edges
of darkness the way GTA pushed the edges of violent crime. The
Darkwatchers are a mysterious secret society that has protects humanity
from evil since. The American frontier overrun by evil minions. Sorcery,
half-vampires, even a demonic horse are nothing new. Frankly it sounds
like some one ate too much spaghetti and took a nap while episodes of
Buffy and bonanza were on in the background.
Regardless the screens and clips show a surprisingly cinematic exceptional
art and design work. You can choose to be a Hero or villain. This unusual
game will be released in May for PS 2 and XBox. Just in time for my
birthday I hope!
