I accidentally came across this blurb
about a US version of a Parasite Eve movie. I remember playing the PS1
game many years ago and really enjoying it. Typically I liked the outfit,
shoes and guns in the game most of all. The story is about a scientist
that looses his wife in a car accident. He then proceeds to try to
reconstitute her. The mitochondria in her body respond wildly to this
treatment and thus the "Eve" gene is born. A movie version of this should
prove to be interesting one on the order of The Thing. "Despite the poor showing of Finial Fantasy, the folks at Square Pictures have plenty of completed footage for a Parasite Eve movie. With the voice acting of Sara Michelle Gellar, and sticking closer to the video game source, this movie can be a winner. Aya Brea is a New York cop. While investigating the bizarre death of the head of an advanced genetics lab, Aya gets involved with Lt. Grey of the US Air Force. He tells her of a strange creature with the power to mutate anything it comes across. Our heroine must join forces with the U.S. Government to try and save New York from being transformed into a hellish version of it's former self." |
