Overview
I bugged Beaner early when the tournament was just getting started to get her nick name and to meet her for the first time. When she said her name was Beaner, it wasn't a familiar name from the girls that were originally registered on the official Ms. Quakecon site a week prior. I mentioned that I was doing coverage and how I interviewed various participants I could get a hold of before the event started. Beaner mentioned that she was fairly new to Quake III, she's a halo gamer.

Beaner also was a volunteer for Quakecon so at various times when she was waiting for her next round in the tournament, she would tell us where she was volunteering and would be back by at a certain time.

Beaner vs. Alecskandhara (She requested to be called Ale)
Beaner mainly used the Rocket Launcher, and Plasma Gun while playing as the Skeleton player model. Alecskandhara played with Hunter model. The first match had Beaner conquering with 9 Frags, while Ale had 5 frags.

During the second match, Beaner won 9 frags with Ale taking 3 Frags. At one point in her 2nd match, she said, "aww" when Alecskandhara committed suicide by accident. A few guys were watching Beaner play at this time. Since one of them heard her aww... he said, "See, the difference between girls and guys, Girls say Aww, guys say YEAH! right when someone loses a frag and goes negative."   She just felt bad because she knows how it feels to go negative. Beaner did catch her audience by surprised when she had one nice rail shot in mid air at one point.
