Half-Life: Bumper Cars [Deathtoll] - Mod Interview

[LadyGamers]:  Is this the first mod you have created or have you helped with other mods in the gaming community?

[Deathtoll]:  My first mod yes, but I used to edit other peoples mods creating different model packs. That's about it.

[LadyGamers]: Do certain bumper cars have different capabilities or are they all the same (i.e. speed, jumping off ledges)?

[Deathtoll]: No they all have the same. You have to get power-ups to have better abilities than the other.

[LadyGamers]: What made you decide to use HalfLife for Bumper Cars? Are you a hard core fan of the game?

[Deathtoll]: Very hard core. It's the only game I have owned in four years. I used it because it widely played and really easy to work with.

[LadyGamers]: With many awesome games out there to play and mods to enhance the fun, how do you keep focused on the production of Bumper Cars? Are there any games out there that peek your interest at this time?

[Deathtoll]:  Focus is simple, we literally have so much fun playing the mod that it helps us to keep going. I play other mods as well. I love "Science and Industry", "Pirates, Vikings and Knights", "Snow War", "Vampire Slayer" and if I want a more serious mod I'll play "Natural Selection".

[LadyGamers]: What are your plans for the future of the Bumper Cars mod? Do you have any ideas you'd love to see happen but just haven't found a way to implement them yet?

[Deathtoll]: We have more plans than we can keep up with. We have over seven different game modes planned, we have several "obstacle" style weapons planned, and even more models. So there is always a way to keep expanding.
