CAL-RA3 Interviews by -beta The Cyberathlete Amateur League for Quake Rocket Arena 3 is comprised of four quarterly (12-week) seasons per year. Team schedules consist of 8 regular season games and qualifying teams advance to the playoffs. Teams are placed in one of three conferences based on US time zones; Pacific (PST/PDT), Central (CST/CDT) Atlantic (EST/EDT). LadyGamers caught up with some of the qualifying teams participating in this North American knock-down-drag-out contest of pure Quake skill. The interviews that follow reveal that RA3 is a thriving mod with wide appeal in the Quake community. And, with the recent release of RA3 1.7, seasoned players and new enthusiasts are clamoring to the servers in numbers bigger than ever. CAL-RA3
