I used to play all the quake games and he let me borrow his game. I was hooked from day one. I only started playing quake online with quake 2. <BiTTeR_IvY> How long have you been playing? «xii|Mimic» I have been playing for 2 1/2 years now. <BiTTeR_IvY> Was xii your first clan? (if not, what was, and what mod did they play?) «xii|Mimic» No, I was in rt8* for about a month, hehe. I left rt8* and joined =FoC= for a month and really didn't like what I saw. I wanted to compete, so I started my own clan, 12thRealm aka xii, both clans were iCTF. <BiTTeR_IvY> What is your favorite Quake 3 mod? «xii|Mimic» My favorite q3 mod has to be iCTF <BiTTeR_IvY> What prompted you to start up the GotRails tourney? «xii|Mimic» I started GotRail? for a few reasons. I noticed that some of the gaming ladders were dead and people were always stating that InstaGib was dying. I started talking to the clan and we all agreed that having a tourney would not only promote the iCTF community in q3 but would help the clan as a whole. I am not the brainchild behind making a tourney, the clan as a whole decided on it. <BiTTeR_IvY> If you only had one day to live, how would you spend it? «xii|Mimic» I would rob a bank and see if I could get away with it. I'm going to die the next day anyway. <BiTTeR_IvY> For the entire xii clan, are you the only female? «xii|Mimic» We have one other female. I used to be the only female for the longest time. It is not easy being the founder/leader of a bunch of guys. <BiTTeR_IvY> How do you handle all of the egos? «xii|Mimic» Actually I run a very tight clan. I smack them around if they get out of line. Everyone jokes in private but we have respect for everyone. When you have an ego, it reflects on the clan as a whole, not just an individual. I will not tolerate someone with an ego, but that is just me. <BiTTeR_IvY> What is your biggest pet peeve, or form of unsportsmanlike conduct? «xii|Mimic» My biggest pet peeve is trash talking. I can't stand it when a clan or someone thinks they are leet. Everyone started out in the same playing field, it just takes time to get better. Some guys just don't understand that women do play this game too. <BiTTeR_IvY> Is there anything that might be considered out of the ordinary about your config or setup? «xii|Mimic» I use fov 135 and I either use a mouse/keyboard or mouse/claw setup __________________________________________R E L A T E D L I N K S
