[LadyGamers]:   You have a very heavy background in Quake 1 scene. How did you feel about the first All-Female Tournament? Or did you hear about it after it was held in 1997? Was it something you would have liked to compete in back then?

[beta]: I didn't actually hear about it until after it was held, but if I had heard about it I would have DEFINATELY wanted to participate in it!!!

[LadyGamers]:  How did you end up getting into such games as Doom and Rise of the Triad?

[beta]:  My brother introduced me to the games when I was very young... if I'm not mistaken I played ROTT when I was probably around 12-14? Then we found out about Doom and naturally... I started playing that also.

[LadyGamers]:  Why do you feel id Software keeps coming out with games that seem to be the only ones that are out there for the money and prize winning? You really don't see other games lasting more then 3 years and still having tournaments for them.

[beta]:   I don't think that they did it on purpose in the past, it's just that the games were good enough in their time. Besides, since they've been pioneers the name id has represented "what's to be played". ID ROX!!!!

[LadyGamers]:  Since you're a new mom, and will keep an eye out for your child's safety, how soon do you feel it is ok for a child to see a type of first person shooter game? Majority of gamers to this day allow their child see such games as early as they are newborns, without this affecting the child as he/she grows older.

[beta]:  This question was a tough one... but I would say that it all depends upon her maturity level as she grows. As of now, she's only 5 months old so obviously she can hardly even see the screen or anything. lol. As long as she reaches the stage to where she can realize the difference between reality and a game and know wrong from right, I might let her watch me for a bit. But in the mean time, until she gets older I will probably wait until after she goes to bed to play (which I have to do anyway). Do you know how hard it is to play and at the same time have a newborn in the house??? not easy!!! lol. So I have no choice it has to be after she's asleep! :>)

[LadyGamers]:  You're the promoter for Ms. Quakecon.org. What type of responsibilities will you have once the event starts?

[beta]:  Since Byskwik came to me I have been trying to spread the word about Ms Quakecon to every living female I know!!! :> Once the event starts I probably won't have much as far as responsibilities go unless they need my help, because I will be participating in the tournament myself. Wish me luck, cause I'll definitely need it!!! lol
