[LadyGamers]:  You grew up mostly playing on console platforms with Quake 3 being your step up to the PC gaming world. How much has the Q3 community changed the past few years you have been playing online?

[Ms.X]: It has changed me a fair bit I think, as I have found something I am passionate about. All this time with console, I never knew how much better PC gaming was, the community and everything that goes along with it. I am very happy to have found this.  =)

[LadyGamers]:  You have totally jumped into the pool of FPS! Have you dug up the roots of First Person Shooters by trying out any of the older games  like Commander Keen, Doom or Castle Wolfenstein by id Software? 

[Ms.X]: Actually come to think of it I did play a little Doom on my friends computer years ago. I would end up spending more time playing that, than with my friend. :o  Apart from that, I played Q2 once or twice but I really didn't enjoy it as I do Quake III and other first person shooters.

[LadyGamers]:  Assuming you have competed a lot in the past from scrims with your clan and possibly LANs or even Tournaments, do you have a practice buddy or coach you appreciate helping you out?

[Ms.X]: Yeah there has been many clan matches and scrims in the past, but over the last 6 months or so my main interest has been dueling. I played in a tournament back in January, it was my first LAN so I wasn't sure what to expect. Despite having the worst hangover ever that day, I placed 1st in Q3 1 on 1 OSP, and 5th in the UT2003 tourney. Was very surprised and pleased with that, and I don't have a specific practice partner. But there are people that have definitely helped me with things along the way, mob|zarbin and snb-Raistlin just to name a few. - Thanks guys!

[LadyGamers]:  What are the reasons you decided to register for Ms. Quakecon? Is it to meet other female Quake gamers? To be the best and win prizes? Could it be you just wanted to go to Quakecon this year and had to have a reason!

[Ms.X]:  I think it will be a lot of fun to get to know the other female players and game with them. (I only know a few that are registered) I've always wanted to play in an all girl tourney, so I was quite happy to see one being held at an event I will be attending. yay! It would also be a feeling of accomplishment for me to place well in this tourney. I like to compete =)

[LadyGamers]: Without giving away any weakness you feel you might have at gameplay, can you give us one reason why you feel you could have a chance to win the tournament?

[Ms.X]: I am quite familiar with duelling in OSP, and have been playing q3 consistently for almost 2 years now. I follow e-sports closely and watch the profesionals at work. I have picked up a lot of knowledge along the way from doing so, and have also had the opportunity to play against some really skilled players.
