[LadyGamers]:  You're the Channel Moderator for Ms. Quakecon. How did you meet the people who you are associated with for Tournament?

[vix]:  Well, to be totally honest, I started out on the Quakecon Forums. After about a week or so of constant posting, I decided to check out their channel on enterthegame.net. First thing someone said to me was "are you the vix from the forums?" and it just went from there. I developed wonderful relationships with the girls I am working with and with a lot of the people affiliated with Quakecon. They're a great group of people.

[LadyGamers]:  How did you first get involved into gaming? Was it through another female gamer? A family member or a guy friend?

[vix]:   My boyfriend, god bless his soul, got me into gaming and I haven't stopped bugging him about it since.

[LadyGamers]:  You're obviously a fan of id Software games or you wouldn't be apart of this tournament. Are there any games you're looking forward to that haven't been released yet?

[vix]:   Definitely can't wait for the DOOM 3 release. I'm really looking forward to the multiplayer tournament at Quakecon this year and the release of the demo.

[LadyGamers]:  The idea of fun is the main focus for this competition. Have you attended any tournaments in the past? You attended Quakecon last year, is there anything you would like to comment about it? Was there anything that stood out that was good or bad during the event?

[vix]:  Until Quakecon2k2, I never attended any other tournament, but I always heard about them. The talk definitely got me intrigued. When qcon came up last year I was really excited to finally see what all the hype was about, and let me just say, it's not just hype, everything they say is true. this has definately got to be the best LAN ever. I can't say anything bad about it, because I have nothing bad to say. There's just this vibe about Quakecon you get right when walk into the doors. it's overwhelming, to say the least.

[LadyGamers]:  You fell into the same trap as most of us girls about Orlando Bloom in Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. If you had to pick his elfish ways and the pirate version of Orlando, which would it be? Would you go for the daring yet charming blonde elf with blue eyes or swoon over the adventurous pirate with brown hair and brown eyes?

[vix]:   Oh goodness, so hard to choose!! But since I really have to choose, I'd have to swoon over the adventurous pirate, there's just something about those "bad boys" that gets me. hehe.
