[LG]: How did you come to be involved in the wonderful world of online gaming?
[PreciousDeath]: Well I personally used to think games were so stupid and never understood
why my older brother liked them so much and could play them for hours,
then one night I saw him playing the Freeze tag mod of q3, and I've been
hooked ever since.
[LG]: What do your family and friends think of your very time consuming gaming hobby?
[PreciousDeath]: My friends think its great cause they are gamers too, My 2 brothers
play so they think its cool, my parents think its a waste of time.
[LG]: How did you get started with the OGL, and which games do you work with currently?
[PreciousDeath]: My first expierence with OGL was when I joined carnage cowboys
first I started out just competting on the ladders, then I became
interested in admining, Redmind who was in CC at the time
got me started in Urbanterror CTF ladder. Right now I currently
work with urbanterror ctf, threewave capture strike, dm 1v1, and
dm team open.
[LG]: Based on your OGL experiences, which game's community makes you think "*phew* glad I
don't work on that ladder", and why do you think they're rowdier than other communities you're
familiar with?
[PreciousDeath]: That would definitly
have to be the Counter Strike division. I think maybe CS draws a younger
crowd possibley and people in general at least from my expierence just
don't care about their conduct.
[LG]: Are you currently competing in any ladders or tournaments yourself? If so, what's your
record like, and do you think your opponents take you less seriously because you're female?
[PreciousDeath]: Right now I compete with CC on urbanterror team survivor rank 4 ,18/13 record.
I guess the respect evens out , you have the guys who think all female gamers are 500 lbs and
are only good at quake because they don't have a life, or you have the ones that just thinks
its so cool that they are playing a female.
[LG]: What game(s) are you most looking forward to the release of?
[PreciousDeath]: Doom 3 mmmm eye candy.
[LG]: Are you currently romantically attached? If so, are you with a fellow gamer? If not, would
you rather date a gamer or non-gamer, and why?
[PreciousDeath]: Not at the moment, I don't really have the time. I think I'd much rather
have a gamer , cause then he'd understand my need to kill things. I've dated a gamer before
its fun to turn the tables and see a guy get ignored for a game, that drives them NUTS.
