IGN Gamecube has
revisited on why Beyond Good & Evil was cast aside. Here
is an excerpt:
"I
think that within the hardcore gaming community, Beyond Good &
Evil got a lot of hype, especially considering it was backed
by the familiar name of Michel Ancel (the Rayman series).
Unfortunately, despite being a pure gem of gaming genius, it
wasn?t given much acknowledgment by the general public. This
is really disappointing, because BG&E is such a magnificent
game; a masterful blend of story and gameplay presented in a
most artistic and beautiful way. To not play BG&E is to sell
yourself short."

GAMERSHELL IS A BELIEVER!
TUESDAY
- JAN 27, 2004
GamersHell has a
review of BGE. The game received an 8.5 out of 10. Here's
an excerpt:
I really love
to get a little surprised by the games I play, and although
that is hard to achieve in my field of work - since it is my
job to stay informed on almost every game out there at all
times - there are still games that positively surprise me
every once in a while... If I perhaps heard of them, but
didn’t expect them to be this good. Beyond Good and Evil is
one hell of an example for this…
