- Saturday, 01 February 2003 Hi, can you please
introduce yourself for those people who don't know who you
are?
aNouC: Well i'm Ana or Anouc, as u prefer, i'm from
Barcelona... and i'm 23 years old. What else u need to
know? :)
How long have you been playing Counter-Strike ?
aNouC: I played seriously CS for 10 days now...
What inspired you to start playing Counter-Strike ?
aNouC: I never wanted to really try to understand
it or love it... cos i was too much into Quake. But with
time and cos of different things in my life... i had to
get more and more in touch with CS and well... at the end
is fun, and not as difficult as Quake to learn =D Anyway i
still play Q3 / Ra3 !!
So what do you think about the Spanish Gaming community
and how do you think it could be improved ?
aNouC: Mmm well during Q1 and at beginning of Q3 i
was in the Spanish comunity for every single thing... but
i just started getting in touch with people from other
places, i made my clan bigger... and i kinda left the
Spanish scene as player. They are doing well, and
improving day by day... i help some sites with news and
stuff :)
What is your impression concerning the female gaming
community in Europe?
aNouC: Well... the past year have started like a
big BOOM, and most of the girls appeared with CS. The
Quaker comunity wasnt that big as CS or some other games
like UT, etc... but its nice to see it grows up, i have
nothing against it, i like it and if theres a way to
help... i'm there :D
What do you think about sponsoring in the European
gaming scene?
aNouC: I guess its a bit "stopped" lately, i dont
see big news about big companies giving their help etc..
saaaaad.
What did you think about the first Clanbase Nations cup
for females?
aNouC: Mmm what a question since i'm the one who
had to run it :D, well i'm really proud at the end... ive
been able to find enough countries who wanted to
participate, and i found nice admins, who been helping in
every single match and could have been possible without
them.
the team captains did really fine their work and all the
players made us enjoy with some nice games. obviously
everything it can b better, but to be the first one, im
happy!
Do you consider yourself to be a Pro or Amateur gamer?
aNouC: If a pro is the one who earns money with
gaming, ive been pro sometimes xD, but i do it for fun,
but i want to win =)
Who has been the biggest influence in the CS scene do
you think?
aNouC: Uhmmm well some ppl influence the scene in a
way that everybody can see and "touch" and lots of people
are influencing day by day and we dont know it, but is
thanks to everybody that things changes and goes on :) to
tell you a name... i would say big players like heaton or
people in the scene like bds
Which female CS player do you admire the most and why?
aNouC: There are many... probably i admire all the
girls who thinks about gaming like i do... and well in the
nations cup ive been able to see nice really nice games...
really skilled girls, and i admire all of them for making
it possible :)
Which male CS player do you admire the most and why?
aNouC: males... uhm!¡ i think 1 player cant make it
without his team, so i admire big teams from all around
the world... 3D, SK, GoL, mTw... and also some not "that"
known teams who really work a lot to b one day on top
(that goes for c[h]ikara!! from the states :D)
At the moment Counter-Strike is without a single doubt
the most played mulitplayer game online. How do you think
it will evolve in the future ?
aNouC: Well cs will b there for some time still...
all depends on the rest of games and their evolution, or
also new ideas...
Do you think there is any discrimination towards female
gamers?
aNouC: nah nowadays i think everybody can play
without problems.. u dont need to go around saying HI IM A
GIRL and so is like they dont let u play... u always have
options... 1. hide with a male name 2. join a female team
and so no one will discriminate u. but i think girls
shouldnt give a shit about it... everyone is free to play.
i just had problems once, time ago, i was playing in a
male team, and i was going to every train. my stats were
always some of the best. but they never wanted me to play
on official games, so the solution is easy: leave the
suckers =)
Do you feel you are treated the same way like any other
CS player in your country ?
aNouC: Well as cs player i still had not much
experiences, but in my country girls are treated nicely,
and people respects them cos they did a great job on
nations cup for example
What do you think the gaming community in general
should do to make gaming more appealing to females?
aNouC: I think keep on doing what all them are
doing... but stop starting and closing little female
clans, thats boring and goes nowhere... (my opinion), but
keep in a clan and work for it, makes it hard and better
with time.
What is your idea of relaxing at home, besides playing
CS?
aNouC: omg tones of things..
What does the future have in store for you?
aNouC: i dont know :) hope good things :o
What is your favourite CS community website ?
aNouC: well there are many and i like to contrast
information in each of them :O
Co rules or Max round ?
aNouC: MR
CPL or WCG ?
aNouC: CPL
FF on or FF off ?
aNouC: FF ON
Heaton or Naikon ?
aNouC: HeatoN
deagle or usp ?
aNouC: like them both
ak47 or m4a1 ?
aNouC: ak47
What did you think about the first season of Female
Domination at Challenge-CS ?
aNouC: what i think about the section ? well Mx-
proposed me about it, i said its ok, he wanted to start
with me, and i said NO! but seems i had to be the last xD
