FFF'99 Player Interview - Meet Pandora

July 27, 1999

Pandora (aka Teresa J. Ervin), who origionaly started out as a West Coast HPB player, is now fragging her way through the LPB West Coast division. Teresa, a 39 year old lady from Oregon is definately a Quake player at heart - not to mention a member of the all-female Quake II clan; Helles Belles.

[FFF.com] How long have you been playing id games?
[Pandora]: About 2 1/2 years? I started out with Quake and then discovered Q2!

[FFF.com] What other games do you play?
[Pandora]: I have tried alot of other games, but I am generally stuck on Quake2! I don't think any of the others have the same qualities, ie graphics and maps!

[FFF.com] Are you in a Quake Clan?
[Pandora]: I am a member of an all women's Q2 clan Helles Belles. They are a great bunch and an honor to frag with!

[FFF.com] What do you enjoy most about playing Quake II?
[Pandora]: Having fun blasting each other to pieces, rather harmless don't you think?

[FFF.com] What is your favorite MOD?
[Pandora]: The Chaos Mod, used to be my favorite, it doesn't seem to be as popular these days, so I have switched to Lithium.

[FFF.com] Want to share a tip or strategy of yours for any Quake II level?
[Pandora]: Just keep moving and watch your back!

[FFF.com] If you could change any one thing in Quake II, or add something what would it be?
[Pandora]: I think it would be cool to have a flame thrower in there!

[FFF.com] Why did you decide to join the FFF'99?
[Pandora]: To learn from and meet new friends! Women have to stick toghether here!

[FFF.com] What do you think your chances are of making it to the top 6 finalists?
[Pandora]: For myself, chances aren't very likely! It would take a major miracle to beat some of the great players out there, I am just a rooky!

[FFF.com] Any words of wisdom you'd like to share with other FFF'99 players?
[Pandora]: Live, Love and Laugh yer ass off, life is too short! Ya just never know when someone might frag your butt!
