Atari Nick Name:
Atari Current Games Focused:
Dark Age of Camelot Current Clan Status:
Hibernation Website: Womengamers.com Former Websites: EFN, DaValkyries (neither of which exist anymore) Quake Memories: I have so many great memories, I couldn't pick. I met so many cool people playing Quake. Some of the best times I had were at LAN parties. Siren and Lunch (Clan Kapitol) used to host these huge LAN parties up in DC called DCCON, and we would play till we fell asleep on our keyboards-- wake up 2 hours later, go for breakfast with our clanmates, come back and play. We would do this all weekend then drive home on Sunday afternoon. Modification Admiration: Hrm, this is a toughie. I loved the grappling hook in Q1 CTF-- made me feel like Spiderwoman. ;) Why walk anywhere when you have a tool like that? On the other hand, I really enjoyed Rocket Arena. If I were to go back and play a mod now, I would probably go back to Rocket Arena. Just give me a weapon, throw an opponent into the pit with me and I am good to go. ;) Tournament Attendance: It's been so long that I can't remember exactly what tournaments and leagues I entered. I remember entering into the PGL under an alias-- I did pretty well too, but after getting on academic probation for playing too much Quake, I made the decision to forfeited my match so I could study for my exams. Quake was important to me, but my degree was first priority. I also played in the All Female Tournament (AFT). I was so nervous during the AFT match that I couldn't hit worth squat. Unfortunately I regained my confidence and my aim too late in the match. I think it was at that point that I realized I am just no good at 1v1 competitions. I also played a bit in the OGL. |
