Quake Memories: I was in a few Quake clans; it was really an amazing way to interact with people. At the time Quake was the only multiplayer,  community-oriented game, and most people looking for an online community
gravitated to the same places, creating almost a small-town feel online. Today the communities are dispersed among many games, and many more gamers. The community feel has been diluted, but it is refreshing that there are many more game offerings available, bring different types of
gamers, men and women, online.
